EL PAÍS DE NOMEACUERDO (I don’t remember land)

A permanently inflated windsock embodies the hostile winds of the Argentine Patagonia where the artist grew up. “El País de Nomeacuerdo,” is the title of a poem by Maria Elena Walsh that describes the act of being lost, of not knowing how to move forward in one’s own country, of not recognizing one’s own land.
